Southern New Jersey
| Formerly known only for its rich
farmlands, South Jersey is now recognized for its great
harvest of prosperity, gained from its tremendous growth
in light industry and residential development. The
prestigious Cherry Hill area is just one of the many
sought-after New Jersey Communities. Here may be found
residential developments, outstanding school systems and
all the desirable civic amenities, from friendly
neighbors to a plethora of park acreage. And this is
only 15 minutes away from the bustle of Philadelphia,
which by the way, has no monopoly on history. The
300-year-old town of Haddonfield, NJ has a restored
colonial district similar to Williamsburg, Virginia.
This town is loaded with old-fashioned charm,
characterized by by tree-lined streets, a top-notch
little league, and a town meeting that's been held every
year since 1735. The South Jersey landscape is bordered
by acres of corn, tomatoes, pumpkins and squash, not to
mention the sweeping majesty of the New Jersey
Pinelands. Tucked away throughout the area are some
superb country inns, tastefully furnished with antiques
and fine French cooking. |
