When dealing with new home builders, you need an agent that can negotiate on your behalf and help protect your interest. Be careful when walking into a new home sales office with out an agent, because once you walk in and register yourself, they got you, it is then in most cases to late for a Realtor to help you.

We are very fortunate here in South Jersey, we have some great builders.
